The dilemma that arises when one must speak of the agricultural company Fontana Reale, is the first thing to tell if its history or pleasant places where it is located.
The story begins when, at the turn of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, the Corbo's family took over from Capraia's Commenda, one of the many properties belonging to the Papal States, the territory that is currently occupied by three districts (San Giovanni Caprara precisely and Caprarella Torrepalazzo), but after many vicissitudes managed to take only part of the territory of San Giovanni at Caprara.
Agricultural Company Fontana Reale ocated on the back of the hill behind the town of Benevento, at a height of about 1247 feet above sea level, overlooking the beautiful valley of the river Calore, covered by vineyards and olive groves that stretch up the slopes of formed by the massive mountains Taburno-Camposauro, giving us an explosion of colors that alternate with the change of seasons, bright green leaves in spring, the various shades of red and yellow autumn, so as to make it look like a field of flowers.
The company produces wine, olive oil and organic honey and covers about 10 hectares mainly cultivated with vineyards, olive groves, orchards and a small part in vegetable crops and fodder for livestock, as well as bee-keeping activities.

The Sannio Benevento is a land characterized by ancient villages and towns due to its lush vineyards and olive groves that always affect not only the landscape but the very life of the Sunnita population, which are inextricably linked to such crops.
The monks had already introduced in tle land cultivation of the vine, which was continued by subsequent owners and experimenting with grapes and winemaking techniques while trying to preserve soil fertility and biodiversity with agricultural techniques which even then was heavily influenced by the current concept of agriculture organic farming.
The terrain is hilly, clay and limestone, steep, rocky and offers the best climatic conditions for these crops.
We have inherited part of this territory together with the passion for the land and for wine and the recommendation to preserve it as did our fathers, divorced from pollution by chemical fertilizers and various poisons such as insecticides, herbicides and synthetic antigrittogame.
Agricultural Company Fontana Reale practice organic farming has always been a confirmation of the moral testament handed down from generation to generation, and since 2000 has adhered to the control system under Regulation 2091/92 (Certified Organic Farming by Control Organism), all to provide the best conditions for health workers, to protect the environment and especially for those who consume the products.
